These days it’s often easy to question the work ethic of people. It’s easy to be critical of others and say you’re better, you work harder, etc., but it’s another thing to go out and put in the work to make yourself better. I can say that without question, the young athletes that I train work hard. There are always days people don’t want to do things. Days that you’re tired or have something else you could be doing; that’s when the great separate themselves from the good. It takes someone special to be willing to sacrifice their time knowing that they will be better for it long term.
Instead of talking about how great you want to be, go out and do it. Put in the extra time and effort needed to make yourself better than you are right now.
